THREE ACTIONS YOU CAN TAKE TODAY
1. HAVE A CUP OF TEA
Whilst the Secretary-General of the UN may say that we need to "move into warp speed climate action now" following the latest IPCC report, we know better. We know that we can afford to wait for governmental action and investment in things like wind and hydro power, for fossil fuel extraction to be banned, and for meat consumption to drop. These are all things which might take a few years to have an impact, as opposed to private investment projects like this which can kick in immediately, but we're okay with that. We feel happy to sit back with a nice cup of tea and to feel good that we've protected our local countryside.
At least for 20 years or so when global temperatures have increased beyond what the current natural environment can tolerate.
2. HAVE YOUR SAY
Our councillors and Members of Parliament have a duty to represent our opinions to Government. It's in their personal interest to prioritise today's voters ahead of those too young to vote, or those who'll have to try to scratch a living in the climate apocalypse future our campaign will make more likely. Contact them with whatever nonsense runs through your little head. They'll thank you and ask you for more!
3. SPREAD THE WORD
Help raise awareness! Share this website with others, distribute flyers, or print a poster and put it in your car window! Let everyone know that you support delaying the urgent action humanity needs to undertake to help avoid the worst impacts of climate change.
